Subcutaneous (SubQ) Wearable Pumps

A major trend in 2026 is moving away from hospital IVs and toward On-Body Wearable Injectors.

  • The "Pancake" Pump: These are small, discreet devices that stick to your stomach or arm. They allow patients to receive large amounts of complex medicine (biologics) slowly over several minutes while they relax at home.

  • Replacing the IV: Medicines that used to require sitting in a clinic for 4 hours can now be delivered by a wearable pump during a morning commute.

  • Comfort and Safety: These devices use tiny, hidden needles that retract automatically, making them much less intimidating than traditional syringes.
